Taller Celebrities
Many Hollywood celebrities wear shoes that make them look taller. Mark Wahlberg (5’7), Tom Cruise (5’7), Robert Downey Jr. (5’8), Jeremy Piven (5’9), Kevin Dillon (5'9) Sylvester Stallone (5’9) and George Clooney (5’11) are just a few examples of famous men who wear elevator shoes. Many of them aren’t particularly short, but some have tall partners who love to wear high heels.
Many actors wear elevator shoes on set to stand taller next to their co-stars. Sometimes the difference in height is very noticeable, and taller shoes help to minimise the height difference. A good example of this is Mark Wahlberg (5'7 or 173cm) next to Will Ferrell (6'3 or 192cm). In the photo above, Will is about 6'4 or 195cm in shoes. However, Mark appears no less than 10cm shorter, which would make him about 6'1 or 185cm. Mark is wearing elevator shoes that are boosting him up by 6 inches or 12.5cm!
Other celebrities who have worn taller shoes include Frank Sinatra, Bono, Brad Pitt, Robert Downey Jr, Michael Douglas, Seth Green, Jack Black, Jason Alexander, Danny Devito, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon, Kevin Connolly, Simon Cowell and Kim Jong Il.
We've sold our elevator shoes to many Australian celebrities, including politicians, actors and sports people.
