Mr. Alex Black is a black high top with a bit more attitude than the usual everyday sneaker.
The shape is clean, but not boring. You get the black premium grade cow leather upper, black laces, and then that red detail through the outsole, which gives the shoe a little kick. Not loud. Just enough to make it feel different when you look down at it.
This is an easy one for casual wear. Black jeans would probably be the first pick. Blue denim works too. Chinos, plain tee, knit polo, linen shirt — the usual stuff. It is the sort of sneaker you can wear on a weekend, to lunch, out for coffee, or on a casual night out where dress shoes feel like too much.
The 10cm / 4" height increase is built inside the shoe, so it does not look like you are wearing something unusual.
