Mr. Carr Black is the sort of black shoe a lot of men end up reaching for more than they expect.
It is plain in the right way. Black leather, lace-up front, higher cut around the ankle, and a rubber sole that gives it a solid feel on the ground. Nothing loud here. No bright trim, no shiny finish. Just a clean black pair that works with most of the usual things in your wardrobe.
